On Latent Racism

Back in college we had a Professor Meisner who taught some kind of intro-level class. Accounting, or statistics or something, I don't really remember.

Anyway, it was people text messaging their friends that they would meet "after Meisner's class" who discovered the following:

In a cell phone's T-9 texting database, "Meisner's" autocorrects to "negroes."

Now the questions arise, who the hell programmed T-9 spellcheck with the correct pluralization and how could someone so ignorant be such a good speller?
